Works

Hey! I'm Shirley. I’m passionate about problem solving, strategic analysis, and design-thinking across industries and products.

Currently at McKinsey & Company, I advise Fortune 500 clients in new business building strategy and operations across industries, from consumer retail to automotive and more. I also co-host a podcast with my best friend (and our 4-interns-strong team) on work and life, called “Move with Power”.

Previously at Better, I led a team of engineers and designers aiming to disrupt homeownership. My team owned the early conversion funnel & end-to-end communications experience that supported Homeowners over the 30+ day mortgage process.

I double majored in Economics and Media Arts & Sciences (computer science + experience design) at Wellesley College, where my passion for business and technology began. I interned at Goldman Sachs on the Apple Card team and helped launch a web-based creative ideation tool, Looking Sideways, at the MIT Media Lab.

Below, you can find some of my favorite projects, in which I developed innovative technology-based solutions to problems in urban planning, finance, health insurance, and more —
